Apple is reportedly to develop a sophisticated wristwatch dubbed as iWatch as an iPhone companion. But it is not impossible that in the future, this device will actually replace the iPhone completely.

The opinion was expressed by Gene Munster, the tech market analyst at Piper Jaffray. According to him, Apple is likely to make different types of computing devices.

“Although we are not sure when it will be launched, probably in 2014 or later, we believe that Apple will eventually introduce some type of computer products” said Munster.

Munster claimed about 10 years into the future, this gadget can be used to replace the iPhone and any smartrphone in general.
Apple was mentioned to announce the iWatch in 2013. To make it possible, Apple is reportedly working with the world’s largest chip company, Intel.

iWatch is reportedly to have an iOS operating system as the iPod, iPhone, and iPad. From the concept, it seems that this advanced design will look like the 6th generation of iPod Nano.
